Pat Buchanan Refers to the President as "Boy"
UPDATE: The Eleventh Circuit Court of Appeals has ruled that a supervisor’s use of the word ‘boy’ to refer to black employees is sufficient evidence of racism. Should Evolution Be Taught in Schools?
Presidential candidate Rep. Michele Bachmann (R-MN) recently advocated teaching “intelligent design” alongside science in public school classrooms as “there is reasonable doubt on both sides.” This view - or utter confusion - predominated at Donald Trump's Miss USA pageant where the contestants were given the "should evolution be taught" question (ahead of time) and then interviewed on camera for the preliminary round. According to one pageant veteran, 96 percent of the contestants either “confused the evolution of species with the origin of life (not the same) or said a variation of Miss Michigan’s line that it’s ‘silly’ and ‘ignorant’ not to know ‘both sides’ including, evidently, religious views in public schools.”
